Swap Meet & Silent Auction

Rails Across the Bay 2009 will host a Swap Meet and a Silent Auction for all attendees. Any registered attendee can participate in selling off those treasures that only you thought you could love. Here's a chance to convert your surplus railroad inventory to cold, hard cash!

Schedule

  • Friday - Swap Meet
    - Set-up: 6:00 - 7:00 PM
    - Sales: 7:00 - 10:00 PM
    - Teardown: 10:00 - 11:00 PM

  • Saturday - Silent Auction
    - Set-up: 8:00 - 9:00 AM
    - Bidding: 9:00 - 11:30 AM
    - Results: 12:00 Noon
    - Pick-up: 12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM

Swap Meet Rules and Procedures

  • Sellers will have 1 hour Friday to setup from 6:00-7:00 PM and 1 hour to teardown from 10:00-11:00 PM.
  • Tables will cost $15.00 for one and $25.00 for two. No refunds.
  • Electrical power, maximum of 5 amps, for $5.00, prior to April 1st.
  • Tables will be selected or assigned in the order received.
  • All transactions are the responsibility of the buyer(s) and seller(s). Rails Across the Bay 2009 has no involvement with the transactions and will not get involved.
  • Rules are subject to change without notice.
  • By adding table rental(s) to your shopping cart or registration form, you agree to these rules and agree to abide by them.

Silent Auction Rules and Procedures

  • Sellers will have 1 hour Saturday to setup from 8:00-9:00 AM and 1 hour from Noon to 1:00 PM to settle and/or pickup unsold items.
  • Rails Across the Bay 2009 will deduct 10% from sellers' proceeds.
  • Minimum bids shall be $1.00.
  • Rules are subject to change without notice.
  • By placing items for bidding in the Sient Auction, you agree to these rules and agree to abide by them.
