The Convention Hotel
The Siskiyou Summit 2012 Convention Hotel is the Red Lion Hotel Medford, 200 N. Riverside Avenue, Medford, located in southern Oregon's scenic Rogue Valley and just 10 minutes from Rogue Valley International Airport via complimentary airport transportation.
Hotel Announces Chef's Choice Buffet Lunch
Wednesday through Saturday from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, the hotel will be offering a lunch buffet in Character's Sports Bar. It will include a Salad Bar, Hot Entree, Starch, Fresh Seasonal Vegetables, Dessert and Beverage for a flat rate of $12 per person. Hotel guests will be able to charge the buffet to their rooms if they wish.
The Red Lion's 185 non-smoking spacious guest rooms and suites feature all the amenities you'd expect of a first-class hotel, including free high-speed wireless Internet access, laundry and valet service. Relax in one of two outdoor pools or work out in the adjacent health club. Enjoy Red Lion's signature Roaring Start Breakfast Buffet... and don't forget, kids 10 and younger eat free with each adult. Character's lounge serves dinner, drinks and entertainment.
NOTE: Due to a minor glitch in the Red Lion's online reservation system, you must call the hotel directly to get reservations for the night of Tuesday, May 1. We've notified the hotel of the problem, but we don't expect to hear back until Monday. Sorry for any inconvenience.
The convention special room rate is $82.00 per night, single or double occupancy, $92.00 triple, and $102.00 quad (plus tax on all rates). Reservations can be made online at the website using Group/Convention Code "PNR/0502" or by calling the hotel directly at 1-541-779-5811 or Central Reservations at 1-800-RED-LION. When calling either number, use Group Block Name "PNR/PCR Joint Convention." If the hotel's front desk staff is busy with guests, you will be transferred to Central Reservations.

The back-up hotel is the Rogue Regency Inn & Suites, 2300 Biddle Road, Medford. Contact the hotel directly at (541) 770-1234 or (800) 535-5805, for the same room rate of $82.00 per night. Mention "Siskiyou Summit" or "the model railroad convention" to get the $82.00 room rate. Make the reservations by phone to ensure getting the convention room rate, as the website may not be programmed for it.
