May 13, 2017 - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, The Sierra Division May meet kicks off with an operating session at the Sacramento Model Railroad Historical Society, 1990 Grand Ave., Sacramento, CA. (MAP) At noon we will break for lunch – a BBQ is available from SMRHS for $5.00.

Then we will meet at 1:00 pm at the First Christian Church, 3901 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA. MAP, for a brief discussion and vote on clean-up for IRF, followed by a clinic by Chip Meriam on creating and submitting articles for publication and the usual photo and model contests and the raffle.

January 26 – 28, 2018 – TBA – Bay Area Layout Design & Operations Weekend, Sponsored by Pacific Coast Region-NMRA , Layout Design and Operations Special Interest Groups.


The meet and all three days of layout tours are open to ALL, regardless of affiliation or membership. NMRA, PCR, LDSIG, or OPSIG membership is NOT required! Even NASG members are welcome! If you can't join us for the entire meet, at least come out and enjoy some truly wonderful layouts.

DAY-BY-DAY SCHEDULE

  • Friday - 7:00 to 10:00 pm - Welcome dinner (no-host) at TBA, followed by layout tours.
  • Saturday - 8:30 am to 10:00 pm - Clinics and panel discussions, layout design consultations, "Birds of a Feather", followed by layout tours. 
  • Sunday - Operations Sessions (newcomers and out-of-towners encouraged!), layout tours.
April 4 – 8, 2018 - Enduring Rails 2018 PCR Convention, DoubleTree by Hilton, Rohnert Park, CA.
