Get your seat early for one of the most exciting NMRA programs, “Modeling with the Masters”! Our special guest will be Jimmy Simmons, who founded Monster Modelworks™ in 2011, specializing in highly-detailed scale model building materials, kits, detail parts and custom laser cutting. Jimmy and Clark will take you thru the steps of building a Laser Kit from Monster Modelworks for the first time. Laser-cut wood is now used to create an array of precision-cut kits with parts ranging from walls with door and window openings cut ever-so-accurately to extremely fine window mullions. All parts fit perfectly (even in multiple layers) allowing the resulting structure to appear very like a scratch-built model. Our project will involve a Brick Engineers Tools Shed that will look great in your yard on your model railway. You should be able to complete this model and take it home with you ready to install on your layout
