Jeff Rogers Kensington HO "Robber Baron Rail Road"

The RBRR is a freelance railroad located (theoretically) on the west coast (northern California/Southern Oregon). The time era is two years in the future (if you come, ask me why). The physical room is 11.5 ft. by 21.5 ft. At the present time, it is about 35 percent done. This includes a large section that is mostly sceniced. The railroad is double decked with a helix to get from the lower level to the upper level. There is a five track hidden staging yard at each end of the railroad. The railroad is powered by a Lenz DCC system which has made the wiring very easy. Scenic wise the lower level will be a port city (half of which is done and mostly sceniced). The upper level is just being started. The scale of the railroad is HO with most of the track being hand laid.

Open house: Sunday 3/14, 1:00 to 5:00pm
Restrictions: No smoking. Fair handicapped access.
Walnut Creek Model RR Club Walnut Creek HO/HOn3 "Diablo Valley Lines"

HO/HOn3 layout in its own purpose-built 40' x 55' building. It features western scenery with mountains, a complete storm sequence, spectacular bridges, and valley scenes with appropriate structures for the circa 1950s era. There are also streetcars and interurbans. The layout includes two main yards and plenty of industries. Cab control with 10 cabs is used to run trains. The layout has been featured in Model Railroader.

Open house: Sunday 3/14 10:00am - 4:00pm
Restrictions: No smoking. Handicapped access is reasonable.
